Get Great Coffee Every Time

Every fan of a great Cup-O-Joe would love to have the perfect cup every morning.  Wouldn’t you like to get that flavorful WOW experience every time you pour your first mug of the day?

Great coffee is no accident, and making cafe quality coffee at home can be a reality for you, just as it is for many others who have taken the time and effort to figure out how. Some have made their morning ritual into a science project – testing and retesting until they get just the results they desire. It does not really need to be complicated. You just need to figure out what you like, then be consistent in your brewing procedures and ingredients.

Here are three tips to help you get started.

Tip #1:The first key to getting a great cup of coffee is to start with excellent coffee. That may sound elementary, but there are so many folks who love coffee, but when they are buying their groceries, they just pick up the cheapest bag of java, or the one that is on sale that day. You will not reach your morning goal with just “any old blend”. Do some research and find one that really hits a home run with you every time. Do you like Starbucks? How about the donut shop brand? Get some of that stuff, whatever it is.

Tip #2: Secondly, make sure your coffee is fresh. Have you ever noticed that the very first time you brew from a freshly opened bag of grounds is always the best? Air does something to the freshness of the grounds, just like most other foods that are exposed to air. That’s why many people grind their own beans.

One really good way of always getting fresh grounds is to use single servings, such as the keurig k cup. Of course you will need to invest in a Keurig single cup coffee maker, but, hey, if you are serious about your quest  for making cafe quality coffee at home, price is no object, right? All single serving coffee makers are not created equal, so you will have to do a little research on that.

Tip #3: Another tip for superior home brew is the water – make sure it’s the best. If you wouldn’t consider drinking your tap water, why would you even think you could get a descent cup of morning coffee using it as the second major ingredient? No, don’t do it. Purchase some really great tasting water.

Follow these simple tips and get consistent results. Soon you will see that making cafe quality coffee at home can be a reality for you, too.
